Compliance & Country of Origin
Compliance you can verify, scoped honestly.
Bull Creek Technologies supplies federal, SLED, healthcare, and regulated-industry buyers with TAA-compliant memory and SSDs. All of our products are RoHS and REACH compliant, and we evaluate NDAA Section 889 requirements on a project-by-project basis. We tell you exactly which product lines qualify and which don't, so procurement teams can buy with confidence.

TAA
Compliance
Memory & SSDs
All Bull Creek memory and SSD products are manufactured in Mexico, a designated country under the U.S. Trade Agreements Act (TAA). This makes them eligible for federal procurement contracts that carry TAA-compliance requirements.
TAA compliance applies to Bull Creek memory and SSD product lines only. Cables, currently sourced from Vietnam, are explicitly excluded from TAA claims. Chargers, docking stations, and adapters are verified individually before any TAA designation is applied.
NDAA
Section 889
Project-by-project
We evaluate NDAA Section 889 eligibility on a project-by-project basis. The NDAA spans many distinct provisions, and the covered entities, solicitation language, and specific parts in scope vary from one procurement to the next — so we don't apply a single blanket NDAA claim across our catalog.
If your solicitation references Section 889, Blue UAS, or any other NDAA provision, contact us with the details and we'll confirm exactly what we can attest to for the parts you're sourcing.
RoHS & REACH
All products
Every product in the Bull Creek catalog — memory, SSDs, cables, chargers, docking stations, and adapters — is RoHS compliant (EU Directive 2011/65/EU, as amended) and REACH compliant (EC Regulation 1907/2006), restricting the use of hazardous substances and meeting EU requirements on the registration and safe use of chemical substances.
This applies across all product lines and all countries of origin. RoHS and REACH declarations of conformity are available for any part on request.
Country of origin — full transparency
We publish manufacturing origin for every product family rather than relying on blanket claims.
Memory — Mexico
All DDR4 and DDR5 modules (DIMM and SODIMM).
SSDs — Mexico
With three exceptions manufactured in Taiwan: BCT8TB2280G4, BCT8TBG7MMSA, and BCT16TBG7MMSA.
Cables — Vietnam
USB-C and DisplayPort cables. Not TAA-compliant as currently sourced.
Other categories — verified per SKU
Chargers (including the GaN II line), docking stations, and adapters have compliance status confirmed on a SKU-by-SKU basis before any claim is applied. Ask us about the specific part you're sourcing.
Why this matters to your buyers
Federal civilian & DoD
FAR/DFARS contracts that require TAA-compliant IT, and Section 889 attestation for covered telecommunications and video surveillance procurements.
State, local & education
State contract vehicles increasingly mirror federal compliance language, including Section 889 flow-down requirements.
Healthcare & regulated
Hospital systems and federally-funded research institutions facing supply-chain transparency requirements on IT components.
Channel partners
Reseller and distributor partners closing deals where the OEM part is back-ordered and the buyer's compliance window is short.
